Why am I having a PR3?

I’ve invested $0 in links, I’ve tried to linkbait 0 times.. yet! >:) Somehow, Google sent the love fairy, and I’m having a pagerank 3 on the blog. I guess people have linked to several posts they found interesting, and that’s it. No fuss, no stress.
I highly recommend going by the book, obviously the success is the sweetest when you aren’t trying that hard.
