Spam Kings – they are usually young and filthy rich

Ever put yourself in the skin of the spammer? I did, and I’ve made some research.
I have met a few very powerful spammers on the internet, they make tens of tousands of dollars, they are young (20-29) and they just bought a new BMW from last weeks revenue, at least that’s what they brag with, I just find it easy to believe.
While browsing DigitalPoint for answers related to myspace/hi5 spam techniques, I came to this thread:

Now, going back to “put yourself in the spammers skin”, would you honestly care if you message gets deleted by 9 million annoyed people, but 50,000 click your ad, and for each signup you get a $1 for being an affiliate, is that alot of money? Yes it is!? Would you care that much for spam?! Don’t think so..
I’m not encouraging spam whatsoever, it’s indeed bad but it’s nearly impossible to stop it, just lower it. The thing that I wanted to point out is that.. spammers are young, rich.. and… it doesn’t matter whatever else!
