PhotoshopLady.com – PhotoshopLady review
Thursday, April 24th, 2008
PhotoshopLady.com
First good impression, seems like they took some time to create a photoshop tutorial site with a good photoshop design. Not that I’m mocking tutorialoutpost.com but PhotoshopLady definetly has more quality tutorials and a better in-theme design.
» Good design
» Quality manually submitted tutorials (I think!)
» Starting to grab attention, I’ve found them on WebAppers.com
Their only problem is.. well.. competing with PSDTuts.com
Recommended photoshop tutorials
» Smoking woman
» Design a cartoon grunge website layout
» Royal Interface
» Movie Poster Art
» Turn a beauty into a zombie
» Realistic Rainbow
» Explosion effect
» Glowing lady of the lake
» Vanity license plate

Robert Kiyosaki – The Secrets of the Rich – A video I’ll credit KaiN for – very interesting
I’ve just got baited.. lovely comment

Quoting: I’m telling you! We’re the new work force. We understand IT/Marketing/HR/MGMT and Sociology. If we don’t know, the guy next door does. It just so happens that the guy next door happens to be a guy/girl named http://www.scorpiono.com/ (or www.mylol.net) who I met on a blog named www.Trizle.com and he/she has mad crazy design skills.
I don’t remember Trizle but.. sounds good, had to post it as gratitude for the nice comment!
Comming back to AdToll..
Monday, April 14th, 2008

I’ve kept them for 3 days, and they are finally displaying network ads, at a $0.10/click rate, which is okay for the moment as it’s targetted nicely (mostly games advertising, so works perfect on mylol community)
Will keep them the whole week to see how it works, I have the feeling I’m going to keep them long time.
SitePoint Marketplace – using them to sell flat advertisment
Friday, April 11th, 2008
They might be gold, I though the prices for having yourself listed were way more than what I’ve seen today (at 2:47AM, hopefully I’ve seen it right)
» How much does it cost to get yourself listed in the Buy/Sell Advertising at SitePoint?
20 credits.
» How much is 20 credits?
Don’t know.. but 30 credits is $1 (*of course I do, that would be 20/30 = 2/3 = $0.(6) USD*)
— Basically the effects will be heavier than DigitalPoint, as I can sell at a good price. DigitalPoint has become a lala-land for freebies (like me obviously!) – so I’ll try out the marketplace for mylol’s advertising spots as I don’t trust in AdToll yet, and well.. I personally hate AdSense from the depth of my soul for their support team. They own the market, it’s monopoly, good for them.. I’ll sell my own ads!
— DigitalPoint still remains on my list, as it is free to post in the Trade section, and I had good results in the past.
ICANN slaps GoDaddy
Wednesday, April 9th, 2008
“ICANN is finally taking action against Domain Registrar GoDaddy’s controversial ‘lockdowns’. GoDaddy has long had a policy of ‘locking down’ domain names for 60 days after a customer updated their contact details. This put customers in a Catch 22 position: ICANN requires customers keep their contact details up to date, or risk having the domain forfeited. Yet during the lockdown period the customer is prevented from transferring the domain from GoDaddy to another registrar. If the lockdown ran over the domain’s expiry date, customers were forced to renew with GoDaddy or lose the domain.”
I think this is quite a good thing they noticed and actually taking action. Most of money of big corps come from similar tactics to fool the less informed
CPXInteractive – pays?
Tuesday, April 8th, 2008
The answer for the moment is NO.
Even though they said few days ago that I will recieve my payment it seems that the net-30 basis will make me recieve the payment in first week of May (will I?) – the bad part is that I got this information by contacting Michael Feaber directly, otherwise their support team wouldn’t have sent me a notice whatsoever.
..sad! I’ve disabled the ads and will wait for payment before using them, even though I’m making 0$ out of ad networks.
